It was clean and the lad downstairs got us two more pillows. Very obliging. The stay was only one night. And we liked it. But, the only thing that REALLY spoilt it for us, was the CARPET in our room was absolutely disgusting! I understand that a dog room might not be 100 percent clean, but sticking to it and the marks were literally all over the carpet in the room we were put in. We are in our late 50,s & early 60’s and we were brought up to respect things, and we always make sure our dog goes out to pee etc and we respect that other guests will follow us. But the carpet was awful and it just took the “ shine” Off our first night of ten nights away holiday. Apart from that we were pleased with the accommodation , everything there. We could not hear anyone, when we were in our room.. it was clean. Over all it was a good stay. For one night.

Keith the manager and his team run the hotel like a well oiled machine he has his staffs safelty and guests safety at the top of his priority so if you smoke go outside if you want to be disrespectful to staff or guests your out which is a comfort knowing we had to stay for about 5 weeks due to a child in icu preston and the care and compassion the staff shown was second to none Courtney and mick were amazing mick doesn't realise how funny he is and lifted our spirits at a time we needed it most and for the people who complained about a stain on the carpet what do you expect it's budget hotel the rooms are clean the bedding is changed daily for a £40 a night for 2 people go somewhere else for 10 times that with miserable staff keep it up Keith job well done in our eyes

Everything , Upon walking in I was greeted by two very nice women on the desk, Having a good chat with them helped me unwind from me having some problems early in the day, They checked me in , explained about the breakfast being from 6-12 noon, which was good for me, having to get back home early sunday morning, The rooms were large with an en-suite bathroom. The bed was very comfy, a large double ... Also being near the M6/M55 Turnoff meant easy access to Blackpool and other destinations... To End I enjoyed every bit of my stay and would stay again .. well priced and a lovely buffet breakfast ...

Right by junction 1 of M55, handy for the M6. I’ve stayed here a few times now and find it provides all I need for a travelling overnight stay. Dee the receptionist was warm, welcoming and a remarkably helpful host. She explained this hotel and others in the chain. She served me a beer and she answered all my questions. She was a fantastic representative for the Accor and Ibis chain of hotels. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the M55, which I liked. Noise wasn’t an issue because of the double glazing and secondary glazing.
