I really liked the friendliness of the staff, who went out of their way to be helpful. I was pleased - and surprised - at the number of doggies that were staying here, with their families. I've always thought some Hotels don't even try to be dog-friendly? The food was good - nice cheesy ships snack, early on, then...hands-down...one of the best pizzas I've ever had!! And so big, I doggy-bagged half of it, which did for my tea the next night. Breakfast was a real winner! Buffet-style, so a grazer's delight - quality sausages and bacon!

Because roadworks at Batley and other traffic crowding had delayed me, my arrival was a few minutes after midnight, but the staff welcomed me, expecting me and one other guest. My room was 009 on the ground floor with heaps of room for my large dog's mattress. My dog was allowed to be with me for breakfast (in the bar area). Breakfast was superb, and was available at a very early time (6.30am). The bed was lovely, and there is a well appointed en suite shower room.

Room basic but large. clean and comfortable. Good sized warm bed. Big shower. Staff, as always, friendly and helpful. Excellent, regularly topped-up buffet breakfast in relaxing environment available from 6.00am until 10.30am. Late check-out time of 12pm means no need to rush away, which was helpful on this occasion. Perfect location for Preston or ongoing travel (we used it as a half-way house coming and going). Have stayed several times and always happy.

It was clean. The room was a good size and the shower and bathroom were fine. I was able to order meals in the evening when I came in from the hospital as I was at the hospital staying with my husband having palliative care. The staff were so understanding bringing my evening meals to my room. I would like to thank them all for all their help.

The staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was quite good. There was everything I required. If my wife had been with me, she would probably have wanted rather more cold meat and cheese. But, for me, the cooked breakfast and porridge-based breakfast were fine. The staff were quick to reload an empty juice dispenser, so nobody went short.
